Makan Angin Tours is a dynamic in-bound tour, destination management company, and online booking platform based in Perth, Australia. Makan Angin (pronounced ma-kan ang-een) is Malay idiom for ‘holiday’. We offer a wide range of travel services to our guests and potential visitors. We are a member of Tourism Council of Western Australia, Destination Perth, and certified with Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) from Tourism Western Australia.

It is our mission to provide the best Perth experience with safety, convenience, and comfort at the best value.

Our story

Makan Angin Tours started out of its two founders’ passion to share the best Perth can offer to overseas families, friends and acquaintances especially from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Both of them, since 2013 are radio presenters for Malay radio program (Radio Melayu Perth). They also involve a great deal in organising community-related events for the Malay communities in Perth. As the radio listener base grew overseas, they received numerous requests for assistance and questions about traveling to Perth. Many a time, they did airport pick-ups, became tour guide cum driver, and assisted with visitors travelling needs for free as a favour. Realising that they can offer a more professional service and greater value to visitors, in January 2016 Makan Angin Tours was then established. While running Makan Angin Tours, they still continue to contribute voluntarily to the Malay communities via involvement in the radio show and organising commmunity events.

You must be eligible to work in Australia legally (citizens & permanent residents). For tour guides, it is imperative that you carry WA driving licence Class F.
